All in all I can say that my friends and I really enjoyed our tour and every time we visit the Bahamas we always come back on the Sea World Explorer. The tour guide on the sub was also very informative, we got to learn about some of the different fishes and coral reefs that we saw. Which we got to see the underwater world. We get on board of the semi-submarine boat. After our habour tour of about 20 minutes. Which I found to be very informative and interesting. Whiles in the boat with Slim, he gave us a tour of the habour ,where we got to see Atlantis and the homes of some of the rich and famous. Slim was entertaining from we stepped foot on the boat, I can say that he kept the crowd laughing.

Lol!! On boarding the boat, we meet our tour guide who goes by the name of "Slim" who's by the way one of the best tour guides I've ever came across ever! He deserves a best employee award, I mean really deserves it.

First off we get on board of an "central air conditioned" boat. We visit the Bahamas every year and always come to the Sea World explorer tour. Apparently they also run nighttime trips where a species of fish with phosphorescent colors look amazing in the dark sea. Despite being under water, the glass sides provide plenty of light and great views of the colorful fish. Very focused towards the younger age set on board but still eliciting laughter from adults. More jokes accompany the narration, mostly focusing on a anemone theme. The guide and narrator of the submarine points out and describes the different sea life (fish, turtles, sponges, corals) as you take a 60-90 minute tour through several reefs. Stories safe for all ages! At the rendezvous point, you jump from the transfer boat to the "submarine" ( well it's a mid water transfer between vessels but the men are helpful and make sure everyone crosses safely. Pour guide for this part was a young man named Kobey who was very entertaining a he pointed out the houses of the rich or famous, accompanied by often hilarious stories and (clean) jokes. A pontoon or catamaran boat transfers you from the cruise ship dock to the "submarine". Different and fun, especially if you want to see the reef and it's resident fish and turtles without getting wet and wearing a snorkel. This is basically a boat with the bottom cut out and replaces by a U-shaped, glass sided underwater aquarium where the people are inside looking out at the fish.
